Our
Story

Wonderment is a family lifestyle store in the heart of Woburn Sands run by me (Shelley) and my 6 year old Berty (AKA Creative Director) We love our highstreet and aim to bring the community together, offering a playful space and carefully considered product. Having worked for bigger companies throughout my career I really wanted to have a bricks and Mortar store that enabled me to engage with people, hear their stories and get to know them. I then create ranges with them in mind. Working with a range of amazing independent brands as well as up and coming and local makers, I am lucky to work with some of the most inspiring people in the UK and oversees. I love products and always have design, quality and a sense of fun in mind when sourcing.

A mixture of quirky ideas and well designed products, this is a small shop with a very big heart.

Hiya! I’m Susie, I love sequins, make believe and dressing up. I’m a huge Wizard of Oz fan, especially Return To Oz.

I think early Cher is the most perfect human that’s ever existed.

I like to eat frozen Cadbury’s buttons and drink champagne or any fizzy wine really.

‘Funkier Than a Mosquitos Tweeter’ and ‘La Di Dah’ by Jake Thakray are the songs I couldn’t live without.

My kids are my main source of inspiration and they start all their games by saying “Pretend.....” that’s where there name came from.

I set up Let Us Pretend in November 2019 and prior to that I’ve worked in the PR side of the fashion industry. I think capes and banners are power and magic all at once.

So strap yourself in it’s gonna be a sparkly ride :)

What Ted Wore was started in 2017 by Mama of two, Lucy. Born from a desire to create eye catching and bold unisex designs that her two boys could wear.

The brand started out with a small collection of embroidered kids t-shirts and sweatshirts and, with the help of social media, has now grown to include a range of sweatshirts for adults (with twinning possibilities!), a baby range and accessories.

With a soft spot for embroidery and catchy slogans, we hope you love our unique designs, and of course, our fave motto...Always. Carry. Snacks.

Jo

I'm Jo and I'm the Founder of Eddie and Bee.
I set Eddie and Bee up in 2016. I trained as a women's wear designer at Central Saint Martins, worked in Fashion for a few years before becoming an early years teacher (random turnaround I know!)
After having my 2 kids, I decided to go back to fashion and set up a sustainable, ethical UK-produced kids fashion brand named after my 2 babies!

What sets Eddie and Bee clothing apart?

⭐ Standout prints.

⭐ GOTS Standard Organic cotton

⭐ Designed and made in the U.K

All of our leggings are made from organic cotton jersey and use low impact dyes. All other fabrics are sourced from a high-quality producer of Japanese printed fabric.

They are all printed in small volumes which adds to the rarity and uniqueness of the fabric and helps to distinguish Eddie and Bee clothing from mass market, high-volume competitors

Every single item is either made by an incredible women run manufacturer in the U.K, or by me in my studio.
